Sunderland are reportedly interested in signing Ross McCormack from Aston Villa in the summer transfer window.
McCormack joined Villa from Fulham in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £12 million.
The 30-year-old striker’s current contract with the Villans runs until June 2020, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

The former Rangers striker spent the second half of last season on loan at Nottingham Forest, but the Scotland international is now back at Villa and seems to be in Steve Bruce’s plan.
McCormack has struggled at Villa, but there can be no doubt that the former Leeds United star has a lot of quality.
The Villans will be aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship next season and perhaps even clinch one of the two automatic promotion places.
Sunderland got relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season, and the Black Cats will be looking to bounce straight back into the top flight of English football.
