Hull City, Sunderland and West Ham United are reportedly battling for Olympiacos star Luka Milivojevic.

According to the Daily Mail, three Premier League clubs – Hull City, Sunderland and West Ham United – are in a battle for the signature of Olympiacos midfielder Luka Milivojevic.

Milivojevic, 25, became a star in his native Serbia with Rad and Red Star Belgrade, before earning a move to Belgium with Anderlecht in 2013.

The midfielder spent just one year with Anderlecht before heading out on loan to Olympiacos, and he completed a permanent move in 2015 having impressed in Greece.

Milivojevic, who has 19 caps for the Serbian national team, has impressed with his passing ability and athleticism in midfield, possessing strength and work rate in the middle of the park, whilst he can even play at centre back if needed.

Now, Milivojevic is attracting major interest as the transfer window heads towards its final week, as the Daily Mail report that Hull City, Sunderland and West Ham United are in a three-way battle for his signature.

It’s claimed that West Ham scouts rate Milivojevic highly and could move to sign him, though manager Slaven Bilic may instead look to strengthen his attack before landing another holding midfielder.

Sunderland would no doubt love to add quality to their midfield, but with an alleged £13million asking price, he may be out of David Moyes’ budget – as has been the case with many Black Cats targets.

The favourites may in fact be Hull, as manager Marco Silva worked with Milivojevic at Olympiacos, and has already used such a connection to land right back Omar Elabdellaoui from the Greek giants.

Whether Hull can afford £13million remains to be seen, but with clubs seemingly keen to land the Serbian star this month, we could see a frantic chase for his signature over the next week.
