It has been reported that Sunderland are in talks with Norwich over the permanent transfer of Ruddy.
The 29-year-old goalkeeper has been on the books of Championship club Norwich since 2010.
The Englishman is one of the best players at the Canaries and has played in the Premier League before.

According to The Daily Mail, Sunderland manager David Moyes is looking for a goalkeeper due to the injury suffered by Vito Mannone.
Mannone will be out of action for at least three months after suffering torn elbow ligaments, as announced on Sunderland’s official website.
