According to The Scottish Sun, Sunderland have joined the race to sign Dundee United talent Jamie Robson, with Derby County also in the race.
The Black Cats moved to appoint Chris Coleman as their new manager earlier this month, replacing Simon Grayson after a dismal start to the season.
With his first win in the bag after the 2-0 weekend win at Burton Albion, Sunderland are now hoping to kick on – but Coleman may already have on eye on the January transfer window.

Robson, 19, saw a deadline day move to Premier League side Southampton fall through on deadline day in August, but he is still expected to head to England soon.
It’s claimed that Derby County are keen on Robson, but Sunderland are now preparing their own move for the teenager when the transfer window re-opens.

Dundee United have lost left backs Paul Dixon and Andrew Robertson to English clubs in recent years, whilst Barry Douglas has ended up at Wolverhampton Wanderers, with Robson potentially next in line if Sunderland get their way.
Bryan Oviedo needs competition at left back, and with Brendan Galloway failing to impress on loan for Sunderland, Coleman could make Robson a key target in January.
