Sunderland are reportedly interested in Wyke, but are yet to make an offer.

Sunderland are said to be interested in the 25-year-old powerhouse, who impressed for Bradford City once again in League One during the 2017-18 season.
Bradford’s number nine scored 16 goals in England’s third tier, but also contributed to play and created another nine strikes for his Bradford teammates. His future with the Yorkshire club is in doubt, though, as he enters the last 12 months of his current contract.
That could see Sunderland move, with the Chronicle reporting that Sunderland are interested in bringing Wyke to the Stadium of Light. The Black Cats’ lack of a striker has been made more than apparent throughout pre-season.
Now, the report claims Sunderland could make an offer for Wyke next week after the powerful striker looks set to return to light training – meaning he would actually be able to pass a fitness test should he undergo a Sunderland medical.

Indeed, the club have had Anton Forrester on trial to give them an option up top, despite the striker disappointing at League Two Port Vale last season.
