And Calciomercato report that Serie A side Fiorentina are hoping to take advantage of Sunderland’s desperate situation by making a cut-price bid for a player who is out of contract at the end of the season.
As it stands, The Black Cats can’t really afford to lose any players on a free meaning Moyes is facing up to the prospect of losing one of his most experienced campaigners at a crucial part of the season.
