Sunderland are now said to be eyeing Sam Surridge as a replacement for Josh Maja.

According to the Northern Echo, Sunderland are considering Bournemouth forward Sam Surridge.
Sunderland are still looking for a replacement for Josh Maja, and Wigan Athletic have rejected all their offers for Will Grigg.
Sunderland are now looking at alternative targets, and Surridge is on their wishlist.
The Black Cats are known to have had a bid accepted for a striker, although whether that offer is for Surridge is currently unclear.
The 20-year-old is a player who is on Jack Ross’ radar though, after his impressive season so far.

Surridge has only recently returned to Bournemouth, after spending the first half of the campaign out on loan at Oldham Athletic.
During his time with the Latics, Surridge notched 12 goals in 20 games to fire himself onto Sunderland’s wishlist.
