Sunderland could end up with three signings this week.
The report claims that the two players are presently on their way to Sunderland to undergo medicals on Tuesday.
It clearly implies that a deal has been already agreed between the two clubs, and that it is only a matter of time before they will be officially presented as Sunderland players.
Bournemouth’s Matt Ritchie and Everton’s Brendan Galloway
Galloway made 19 senior appearances for Everton, and has a contract at the club till 2019. He spent the last season on loan to West Bromwich Albion, but played just five games.
Browning, 23, is a product of Everton’s youth academy, and spent the second half of last season on loan at Preston.
The Black Cats are also hoping to secure the signature of Aiden McGeady, albeit on a permanent deal.
The 31-year-old winger is not in the first team plans of manager Ronald Koeman, and he will be allowed to leave the club.
According to reports from The Northern Echo, Sunderland are hoping to sign McGeady before Friday. Thus, there could be three new arrivals at the Stadium of Light by the end of this week.
