Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers have both been fairly quiet in the transfer window so far.

According to Get West London, Queens Park Rangers are in a battle to sign Christopher Nkunku from Paris Saint Germain.

QPR, Sunderland, Hull City, Fulham and Brighton & Hove Albion are all said to be interested in the 19-year-old.

Nkunku is highly regarded at PSG, and made a handful of first-team appearances last season, including one in the Champions League.

However, PSG may be willing to loan the youngster out this season, and QPR and Sunderland are among the clubs keen to offer him a home for the year.

QPR and Sunderland both have limited budgets to spend this summer, but both are searching for additions.

Ian Holloway and Simon Grayson are known to want to increase the quality available to them at their respective clubs.

Both Sunderland and QPR have been relatively quiet so far this summer, though.

Sunderland have made just one addition to date, with Brendan Galloway joining on loan. QPR, meanwhile, have only brought in Josh Scowen so far.
