Sunderland and Aberdeen are reportedly interested in signing Christian Doidge from Forest Green Rovers in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Doidge is on the Black Cats’ list as a potential alternative to Charlie Wyke of Bradford City for Sunderland, who will play in League One next season after getting relegated from the Championship.
Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen are also claimed to be interested in the 25-year-old Welsh striker.
Sunderland’s League One rivals, Peterborough United and Bradford City, are also reported to be interested in Doidge, who is claimed to be valued at £750,000 by League Two side Forest Green.

Risky signing for Sunderland?
Doidge did well for Forest Green last season, as the striker scored 20 goals and provided five assists in 42 League Two appearances, according to Transfermarkt.com.
The 25-year-old striker, though, would be a risky signing for Sunderland, as the Black Cats need someone who knows League One well and has been a success in the division.
