Rangers defender could make his debut at the weekend.

Rangers could hand Filip Helander his debut this weekend, report The Daily Record.
Helander has not been called upon since his move to Rangers, with Steven Gerrard keen not to rush the Sweden international’s fitness.
Gerrard has also been reluctant to break up a Rangers defence which has been performing strongly.
Helander trained with the team this week and could potentially make the bench this evening in the Europa League, but a start is said to be unlikely.
Instead Helander, who has only played in pre-season so far, is expected to be eased in for the Betfred Cup clash against East Fife.

Rangers are heavy favourites and will rotate the team against the lower division opposition.
£3.5 million signing Helander would be fancied to handle East Fife, even if he is not quite at 100 per cent.
Beyond that an objective for him will be to force his way into the team for the Celtic clash on September 1.
