The striker has missed the Scottish Premiership side’s last two games.
Celtic’s Leigh Griffiths
The Evening Times have suggested that Celtic will be without Leigh Griffiths for today’s clash with Inverness Caledonian Thistle, but could have their star striker back in time for next weekend.
The 26-year-old has missed the Hoops’ last two games due to a calf injury, the Evening Times reports, and it appears that he is going to sit out once again as he continues his recovery.

Before sustaining the problem, the Scotland international had continued the stunning form that he showed last season at the start of this campaign, scoring seven times in just nine games in all competitions to help the side move themselves to the top of the Scottish Premiership and reach the Champions League group-stages.
Nevertheless, they have so far not missed him too much in the two games that he has had to watch from the sidelines.
Celtic’s Moussa Dembele scored a hat-trick in the Old Firm game
Summer signing Moussa Dembele inspired the Bhoys to a 5-1 victory in the Old Firm game, and while they suffered a defeat to Barcelona in midweek, it seems incredibly unlikely that Griffiths’ presence in the contest would have made that much of a difference to the 7-0 scoreline.
But if Brendan Rodgers’ men put in a lacklustre display against Caley – which would arguably be forgivable given the two games they have just played – then they will be desperately hoping that Griffiths endures no setbacks in his recovery and is ready for their next league fixture.
