The £20 million Hammers recruit is expected to be out until December.

According to L’Equipe, £20 million West Ham United signing Andre Ayew is back with former club Marseille. But there is no need to worry as the report suggests he is merely undergoing rehabilitation in the southern French city.
Ayew arrived at Upton Park from Swansea City in the summer but suffered an injury blow on his competitive Hammers debut.

West Ham’s medical team are expecting a December return for the 26-year-old, who it is claimed was keen to work in a facility and with staff he has known for the best part of a decade in the meantime.
And the Hammers are said to have granted the forward’s apparently tentative request.

Ayew made his debut for the Ligue 1 giants in 2007 and remained at the Stade Velodrome until his free transfer switch to South Wales last summer.
The Ghana star scored 60 goals in 207 Marseille appearances, adding another 12 in 35 for Swansea, and his services are undoubtedly being missed by Slaven Bilic’s team, which currently sits third bottom of the Premier League with three points from a possible 15.
