Reports emanating today suggest that West Bromwich Albion tabled a £16 million bid for Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal target Bruma in the summer, which was subsequently rejected by Galatasaray, as reported by the Birmingham Mail.
Bruma, 21, has attracted interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, as he continues to produce dazzling displays on the wing for both his club side and the Portugal under-21 team.

The Birmingham Mail suggest that PSV Eindhoven were also interested in Bruma over the summer, but could not come close to the Baggies in terms of their valuation of the player.
The Portuguese youngster moved to the Turkish giants in September 2013 for an undisclosed fee, and has gone on to make 41 appearances for his club.
He spent last season on loan in La Liga with Real Sociedad, making 33 appearances, and scoring two goals.

Baggies fans will be pleased to hear of their club’s bid for Bruma, as it at least portrays the fact that they were making efforts to bring top level talent to the Hawthorns.
Tony Pulis’ men currently sit in ninth position in the Premier League table, but face a tough test on Saturday when they welcome Tottenham to the Hawthorns.
