A report in the Daily Mirror has suggested that Tony Pulis is keeping his options open regarding his future but is not currently prepared to walk away from West Brom.

Pulis appears to be a divisive figure amongst the large majority of Baggies supporters, with some accepting that a team run by the former Stoke boss never gets relegated from the Premier League, while others are not convinced – largely due to his style of play – that he is the man to take them forward.

His cause was done no favours when his West Brom side finished the campaign in incredibly disappointing fashion, seemingly switching off once they had reached the 40-point mark in the top flight.

That slide saw them fall from eighth to 10th in the final weeks of the campaign. And while that may not seem too bad at all for a Baggies side whose highest finish in the Premier League is eighth, it must be noted that 17th place Watford finished just five points adrift of them in the final table.

And the Mirror has hinted that the final day defeat to Swansea could potentially end up being his last game as West Brom boss as while he is not currently planning to leave his post, he is open to other opportunities.

The Mirror reports that Pulis would be prepared to consider moving on if a move lucrative offer came in.

The news that Pulis is ready to consider his options if an offer comes in is surely likely to leave a greater number of supporters wanting the board to make a change as it hints that his focus may not solely be on building on the promise that they showed this past season.
