Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is attracting attention from Manchester United ahead of the summer window.

A report in the Daily Express has suggested that Manchester United are ready to confirm their interest in Tottenham star Hugo Lloris during the upcoming summer transfer window as they prepare to potentially lose David de Gea.
De Gea is on Real Madrid’s radar, and the Express is reporting that United have identified the Spurs star as their number one target should the Spaniard head to the Bernabeu.
However, their path to Lloris’ signature could be fairly congested with the Express adding that Paris Saint-Germain are also keen on a deal.
The Express suggests that while the 30-year-old recently signed a contract at White Hart Lane that is set to keep him at Tottenham until 2022, the two clubs chasing his signature can offer him a significantly better wage than the £100,000 a week he makes at Spurs.
The Express does not give any indication as to whether Lloris would want to join either interested side if they did make a bid, but does suggest that the opportunity to win major honours may prove to be a factor in his decision.
Should that be the case, it could certainly be argued that leaving Spurs would be a questionable choice currently. Mauricio Pochettino’s men are flying high in the Premier League while United face an uphill battle trying to make the top four this year.
And while PSG and United may have the resources to offer him the kind of financial deal that Tottenham currently cannot, the direction the North London side are heading in should make staying put as exciting an opportunity as either of the moves that may be on the table.
