The Tottenham Hotspur right-back’s form has nosedived this season.

Tottenham Hotspur may need to find an alternative buyer for Kieran Trippier.
The Spurs right-back has been strongly linked with a move to Napoli, after an underwhelming campaign.
But despite reports the Italian side were confident of concluding a £25 million purchase (The Independent), a move to San Paolo is now unlikely for Trippier, according to The Sun.
A Napoli source is quoted as telling the newspaper that while they are in the market for a new right-back, they will be pursuing a player that is younger than the 28-year-old Tottenham man.

Trippier was one of the stand-outs as England reached last summer’s World Cup semi-finals, and it is claimed Spurs are likely to ask for £40 million to sell him this summer despite a recent fall from grace (The Sun).
Tottenham’s right-back options also include Serge Aurier and Kyle Walker-Peters, while others, including the Crystal Palace youngster, Aaron Wan-Bissaka (The Sun), are said to be interesting Mauricio Pochettino’s Champions League finalists.
