Manchester City are reportedly keen on signing the Tottenham Hotspur ace.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has a lot of work to do during the course of this summer’s transfer window, if he is to build a squad who are capable of making the step up to the next level.
Although the Argentine undoubtedly needs to bolster his options, keeping hold of some of his key men might just be equally as important.
Spurs fans would have been concerned to read Calcio Mercato’s report yesterday linking Mousa Dembele with a move to Manchester City, and the Lilywhites would surely be mad to sell the Belgian for the £20 million that was quoted.

The 30-year-old is one of the Premier League’s finest box-to-box midfielders, and his talent is such that it could be argued that he is irreplaceable.
Dembele joined Tottenham from Fulham in the summer of 2012, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £15 million, and he has since gone on to establish himself as one of the club’s most important players.
The skillset that he possesses is so unique, and his importance to Spurs is most noticeable when he is not playing.

To replace the 30-year-old, the Lilywhites would have to spend some serious cash this summer, and considering the fact that he could reportedly be sold for just £20 million, the north London outfit would surely be better served in offering him a new long-term deal to stay at the club.
This summer will be crucial to Tottenham and their hopes of success next season will surely depend heavily on their ability to keep hold of their key stars.
Mousa Dembele certainly fits into that category, and losing him to one of their bitter rivals could spell disaster for Spurs.
