The north London side are reportedly in the hunt for two of the Foxes’ leading lights.
Tottenham Hotspur are scouting Leicester City duo N’Golo Kante and Jamie Vardy, according to the Sunday People.
Indeed, both have shone for Leicester so far this season, with Claudio Ranieri’s side currently sitting three points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
And the Sunday People report that Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino would prefer to sign Kante over Vardy.
Unlikely
In terms of likelihood, however, neither Kante nor Vardy look as though they will be Spurs players any time soon.
Kante has been one of the signings of the season at Leicester, while Vardy’s heroics up front make him one of the Premier League’s best performers in the whole division.
But Tottenham have heroes of their own. For Vardy, there’s Harry Kane; for Kante, there’s Eric Dier. What are the chances both Leicester players would leave the Foxes – who top the table right now – to play second fiddle at White Hart Lane?
Still, this is January and transfer silly season…
