Tottenham Hotspur are again being linked with Manchester United forward Anthony Martial.

According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are in the hunt for Manchester United forward Anthony Martial – and are prepared to pay £44million for his signature.
Martial, 22, was a sensation in his first season for the Red Devils following a big-money move from Monaco on deadline day in September 2015, scoring 17 goals in all competitions.
The Frenchman has struggled to convince Jose Mourinho though, and after only bagging eight goals last term, Martial has found the net 11 times this season, but has started just 17 league games.
With Alexis Sanchez brought in during the January transfer window, Martial’s quest for first-team football was dented again, and he may pursue a summer move away from Old Trafford.

The Daily Mail report that Chelsea are keen on signing Martial, but Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested – and are willing to offer around £44million for the attacker.
It seems unlikely that Daniel Levy would support such a move, given claims that boss Mauricio Pochettino needs to sell in order to buy, but there’s no doubting that Martial would be an exciting addition.
Whether used out wide or up front, Martial brings pace and trickery, and would give Spurs another weapon in attack alongside Son Heung-min, Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Harry Kane.
Whether United would accept the bid also remains to be seen, but Spurs fans would surely be excited by a £44million swoop for Martial this summer.
