A report has suggested that Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus could come to some sort of agreement regarding two targets they are both looking at.
According to a report from the Telegraph, Tottenham’s desire to land either Joao Cancelo or Ricardo Pereira could see the Premier League side try and come to some sort of arrangement with Juventus – who are also looking at both men this summer.
The Telegraph reports that Kieran Tripper is not optimistic about his chances of being ready for the new season following the injury he sustained in the pre-season friendly with the Old Lady last week, and that could prompt Spurs to step up their pursuit of a new right-back following Kyle Walker’s departure to Manchester City earlier in the window.

The two targets who appear to be emerging for Tottenham, according to the Telegraph at least, are Cancelo and Pereira, despite the fact that their interest in the latter had cooled earlier in the window due to a dispute regarding his representation.
But it appears that their final opponents before Spurs kick off their Premier League campaign against Newcastle this weekend are ready to rival them again, with the Telegraph reporting that Juve are keen on both men also.
However, the Telegraph adds that their mutual interest could lead to the two sides trying to broker some sort of deal that would see one of the clubs target Pereira while the other goes after Cancelo in an attempt to avoid an unnecessary bidding war.
With Trippier is danger of missing the curtain-raiser, Spurs fans will be hoping that they can reach an agreement with Juve quickly if that is indeed what they will consider doing as their need to get some new faces in has now increased.
And they will probably be hoping that if they can get one of the right-backs in, that deal becomes the catalyst for a few more before the deadline.
