Reports emanating from Italy today suggest that Daniel Sturridge is the subject of interest from three Premier League clubs, who are considering making a bid for the England international striker in January, as reported by CalcioMercato.
West Ham, Sunderland and Stoke City are all considering moves for the striker, according to the Italian media outlet.
The 27-year-old striker’s career has been heavily effected by a succession of long-term injuries, and he has failed to establish himself as Jürgen Klopp’s first-choice striker since the German’s arrival at Anfield in October 2015.

He has only started half of Liverpool’s Premier League games so far this season, and his availability in January will be heavily dependant on the first-team opportunities he if offered between now and the opening of the winter transfer window.
CalcioMercato report that the three club’s interest in Sturridge has intensified after reports of the Liverpool striker becoming increasingly more unsettled on Merseyside.

Sturridge moved to Liverpool in January 2013, and has gone on to score 55 goals in 98 appearances for the Reds.
The report does go on to claim, however, that Liverpool have no intention of selling their striker, especially not to a Premier League rival.
