Could the Auld Enemy have inched Celtic teenager Karamoko Dembele from under Scotland’s noses?
According to the Mirror – which cites the Express – Dembele has travelled to St. George’s Park to train with England’s Under-15s despite being named in the Tartan Army’s Under-16 squad for the upcoming Victory Shield matches against the Home Nations.
The 13-year-old is hot property after making his debut for Celtic’s Under-20s last month, with English sides Manchester United and Manchester City among those credited with an interest since then.
But it is not just Celtic who could lose out to those south of the border, should the reports prove accurate.

Born in England’s capital to Ivorian parents, Dembele moved to Scotland at the age of five, enabling him to play for any of the three nations.
His call-up by the Scottish FA suggested his future lay in Dark Blue, however, even if Dembele were to opt for England for the time being, he would still have one chance to change his nationality provided he has not appeared in a senior competitive international.
