Seven players could leave Parkhead, giving Ronny Deila plenty to think about at Celtic.
The Glasgow Evening Times has reported that seven players could be in line for the chop at Celtic, with manager Ronny Deila keen for youngsters to progress at the club.
The paper claims the likes of Mubarak Wakaso and Aleksander Tonev will not be kept on, along with striker John Guidetti who is being tipped to make a move to Feyenoord in the Netherlands.
The paper also suggests that goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska will not be offered a new contract while Stefan Scepovic, Teemu Pukki and Amido Balde are also tipped to leave.
It suggests a lot of upheaval this summer at Parkhead, but for good reason as the younger players will form the backbone of the squad over the next few seasons, giving Deila a sustainable supply line of talent.
He will also have to make one or two additions in the transfer market to create some extra squad cover, but the boss seems determined to refine his playing staff to make his options stronger.
That should help the Bhoys to protect the success they are building this season, improving the chances of silverware heading into the 2015/2016 campaign.
