The Swansea City midfielder began his career at Feyenoord.

According to Voetbal International, Swansea City’s Leory Fer will come into the picture should Tonny Vilhena leave Feyenoord this summer.
Vilhena’s departure is assumed by the Dutch newspaper, and would create a vacancy in the Rotterdam side’s midfield.
Like Vilhena, Fer began his career at Feyenoord, but left for FC Twente at the start of the decade and has spent the past five years in English football with Norwich City, Queens Park Rangers and Swansea.
But with less than a year to run on his contract, and following Swansea’s demotion to the Championship, it is possible that Fer could be on the move this summer.

And a return to De Kuip may appeal to the 28-year-old, especially with former teammates Daryl Janmaat (Holland) and Jordy Clasie (Feyenoord and Holland) also linked with returns to the club managed by Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
Fer also suffered relegation as a Norwich and QPR player, but has yet to complete a full season at Championship level after earning moves on both occasions.
