Sunderland are in desperate need of more pace and creativity in their side, after a woeful start to their 2016/17 campaign.
Reports emanating from Holland today claim that Sunderland are looking to sign PSV Eindhoven winger Luciano Narsingh, after the player was hotly tipped to leave the Dutch side, as reported by Dutch media outlet Eindhoven Dagblad.
The 26-year-old is a versatile attacker, and is fully capable of playing on either flank, which would be a tremendous asset for the Black Cats in January, should they manage to push through a deal for the Dutchman.

Narsingh has earned 16 caps for the Holland national side – something that highlights his quality, when the wealth of attacking options they have at their disposal is considered.
The report from Eindhoven Dagblad claims that the pacey winger will be allowed to leave for as little as £6 million in the winter transfer window, with his contract with the Eredivisie side due to expire in the summer of 2017.

The Black Cats have really struggled for goals so far his season, with their paltry return of just nine in 11 games proving to be one of the chief contributing factors towards their current plight.
The addition of Narsingh would be the ideal tonic to help kick Sunderland into life in January, and his arrival would surely help bring the best out of star striker Jermain Defoe.
