Sunderland are reportedly keen on the young Falkirk defender.
The Sunderland Echo are reporting that Black Cats boss David Moyes watched Falkirk’s 2-1 victory over St Mirren yesterday, with 17-year-old defender Tony Gallagher thought to be the main reason for his scouting mission.
Ironically, the teenager was an unused substitute, however, and it is unclear whether Moyes had his eye on any other potential targets.

The Wearside outfit have had to endure an incredibly difficult first half of their campaign, and currently sit rock bottom of the Premier League table, three points adrift of 17th placed Swansea City.
And their fans are desperate to see some high quality arrivals at their club this month, although that will be easier said than done, with Moyes being forced to work with limited funds.

Gallacher is valued at around £750,000 by Falkirk, according to the Sunderland Echo, so Sunderland would certainly be able to afford him, should they choose to pursue their interest.
The Sunderland Echo also claim that a whole host of Europe’s biggest clubs have expressed an interest in the 17-year-old, including Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool.
