Jermain Defoe of Rangers
According to The Daily Mail, Sheffield United may make a move for Rangers striker Jermain Defoe.
Defoe is on loan at Rangers from Premier League club Bournemouth at the moment.
The former West Ham United and Tottenham striker moved to the Gers on an 18-month loan deal in the January transfer window.
According to The Daily Mail, there may be room for one wild card such as Defoe in United manager Chris Wilder’s United team next season.
The Blades will play in the Premier League next season after clinching automatic promotion from the Championship.

Worry for Rangers?
Defoe has been playing well for Rangers in recent weeks and is scoring goals for fun at the moment.
The 36-year-old former Sunderland striker has made eight starts and six substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for the Gers, scoring seven goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
United are an ambitious football club and play good, attacking football, and Defoe could be tempted to return to the Premier League and play for one more season in the English top flight, especially as he is now 36 years of age.
