The Lille winger has failed to impress on his return to France.
Reports in France are suggesting that a player who spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest is up for sale in the cheap in January.
Ligue 1 side Lille are reportedly looking to offload winger Ryan Mendes, according to Mercato365.
Nottingham Forest’s Ryan Mendes and Wolves’ Jordan Graham
The Cape Verde international returned to Lille in the summer after playing 32 times and scoring two goals with Nottingham Forest in 2015-16.
The report claims that Mendes is no longer deemed necessary at Lille and is available on a permanent transfer this winter – with clubs in Turkey and Germany tracking his progress.

But should Forest consider bringing him back?
Mendes was a frustrating figure at Forest last season, with his inconsistent performances struggling to win over fans at the City Ground. But his pace and power is undoubtedly a weapon Forest need on the wing.
Ryan Mendes in action for Lille
He has played just seven times for Lille this season and has not featured since September so will be desperate to get a chance of regular football elsewhere.
Forest currently have a French manager in Philippe Montanier and Mendes grew up in France. Perhaps a second crack at Nottingham Forest under a fellow Francophone could see Mendes produce his best in the Championship?
