Clinton N’Jie is also expected to head to Marseille in the next day or so.

Reports in France are suggesting that Tottenham Hotspur’s recent contact for Sofiane Boufal of Lille was a bluff to push through a deal for Marseille winger Georges-Kevin N’Koudou and Spurs attacker Clinton N’Jie to trade places.
MadeInFoot report La Provence as stating that the move for Boufal was intended as a bluff to speed up negotiations with Marseille over a move for the French under-21 winger – and that it has worked.

They suggest that Marseille are now expecting N’Jie to join tomorrow, with N’Koudou expected to head to Tottenham quickly afterwards.
The same report also suggests that Sofiane Boufal will remain at Lille for at least another six months.

If true then it is a masterstroke from Daniel Levy, who reportedly got in contact with Boufal’s agent Yvan Le Mee this week – as reported by Foot01.
Hopefully this latest report carries credence, as Tottenham fans are becoming increasingly frustrated with what has been a dragged out transfer process between the two clubs this summer.

If Spurs did sign N’Koudou it would likely be their final piece of incoming transfer business, although they are also being linked with a move for Spanish goalkeeper Pau Lopez of Espanyol.
