Liam McCarron has joined Leeds United.

As announced on Leeds’s official website, the Whites have signed McCarron from Carlisle United in the summer transfer window.
The 18-year-old winger had put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the West Yorkshire outfit.
Leeds have claimed that they have beaten off competition from a number of Premier League and Championship clubs to bring the winger to Elland Road.
According to The News & Star, Carlisle were prepared to offer the teenager an extended and improved contract, but the winger found the opportunity to play for Leeds too good to turn down.

Future star
As announced on Leeds’s official website, McCarron will be part of the club’s Under-23 side and will work under Carlos Corberan in the initial stages.
As Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa showed last season, he is not afraid of giving players from the youth team the chance to play for the senior side if they are good enough, and perhaps McCarron will get playing time during the 2019-20 campaign.
