Glasgow Rangers may reportedly look to terminate Carlos Pena’s contract after a disappointing spell at Ibrox.

Steven Gerrard’s men have been incredibly busy this month. Jordan Jones and Glen Kamara have joined on pre-contract deals, while Jermain Defoe and Steven Davis have arrived on loan.
Rangers will be aware of how important it is that they ensure that the books are balanced having spent so long getting themselves back into the title picture in the Scottish Premiership.

Pena has endured a very disappointing spell since arriving at Ibrox for £2.2 million in 2017 (via Sky Sports). It would be a huge surprise if he played for the club again, regardless of whether Rangers manage to terminate his contract this month or not.
An end to his contract appears to be the best move for all parties at this point, especially with Davis now joining until at least the summer and Glen Kamara coming in at the end of the season.
