According to The Daily Record, Rangers could make a move to bring Vassilis Lambropoulos to Ibrox in the summer transfer window.

Lambropoulos is out of contract at AEK Athens this summer, and it has been reported that Rangers could make a move for the 29-year-old central defender.

SDNA reported in December 2018 that Rangers were looking to sign the Greece international central defender in the January transfer window (click here to read more).

The Daily Record has now claimed that Steven Gerrard’s side could make a move for Lambropoulos, who can also operate as a right-back.

Good signing for Rangers?

Lambropoulos is a strong, capable and experienced defender who will be a good signing for Rangers in the summer transfer window.

The centre-back will be a smart addition to the Rangers squad this summer, especially as the Greece international is a free agent.

Not only will the 29-year-old be able to compete with Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic for a starting slot, but the centre-back could also establish himself as a regular in Gerrard’s team.
