Premier League outfit Everton reportedly want to sign Joel Piroe from Eredivisie champions PSV Eindhoven, as do Serie A giants Juventus.

Everton’s attempts to sign the highly-rated PSV Eindhoven forward Joel Piroe could be about to hit the buffers.
The German-born forward is yet to force his way into the PSV first-team but his impressive performances for the club’s reserve team have turned plenty of heads. Piroe has scored 10 goals in 23 games in the Eerste Divisie this season and Calciomercato reported a month ago that Everton were keen to bring the teenager to Goodison Park.
Considering that Everton’s director of football Marcel Brands had spent the last eight years pulling the strings at the Phillips Stadium, it is no surprise that he is fully aware of the most exciting talents emerging form the club’s academy.
But it seems that Piroe won’t be reuniting with Brands any time soon.

Voetbal International claims that Piroe is set to commit his future to PSV by signing a new long-term deal, spurning the advances of Hoffenheim, Mainz and even Juventus. The Serie A champions were expected to make a new bid after seeing a £2 million offer rejected last year.
Brands has earned plenty of credit since taking over at Everton in 2018 but this appears to be one deal that is out of his reach.
