Celtic could have Kieran Tierney and Mikael Lustig fit to play this weekend.

Manager of Celtic Neil Lennon walks to the dugout before the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between Aberdeen and Celtic at Pittodrie Stadium on May 04, 2019 in Aberdeen, Scotland.

According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic duo Kieran Tierney and Mikael Lustig are expected to be fit to face Rangers at Ibrox this Sunday.

The Bhoys have already tied up the Scottish Premiership title having beaten Aberdeen 3-0 at Pittodrie last weekend, but this Sunday’s game is a huge one.

It’s the final Old Firm derby of the season, as Celtic make the short journey to Ibrox take on Rangers, and they’ll be hoping for revenge having lost at Ibrox back in December.

Neil Lennon led Celtic to a win over Rangers at Parkhead in March, and his hopes of scoring another win over the Bhoys’ bitter rivals have been boosted.

Left back Tierney was substituted after 56 minutes at Aberdeen, whilst goalscorer Lustig was taken off in injury time as the Bhoys had to deal with a couple of worrisome knocks.

The Scottish Sun now report that Tierney will be fit to play, whilst Lustig is also expected to be involved, giving Celtic the ideal boost ahead of the game.

It saves Lennon the job of reshuffling his defence against a dangerous Rangers side, and keeps two of his most reliable players on the pitch.
