Nottingham Forest survived relegation to League One on the final day of what has been yet another tumultuous season at the City Ground.
Mark Warburton struggled to turn around the fortunes of the club after Gary Brazil also found it difficult to make things better at Forest.
In hindsight, Forest’s first ever foreign boss Philippe Montanier was not doing such a bad job at the club considering the issues at the club.
The Frenchman was sacked in January this year after struggling to get Forest performing in the Championship and having an awful defensive record.

He has been out of work since, but is now being linked with a new job this summer.
It is being reported in France, including by Eurosport, that the former Forest boss is being lined up as a potential successor to Jean-Louis Gasset at French Ligue 1 side Montpellier.

The 52-year-old, who has previously managed the likes of Valenciennes, Real Sociedad and Stade Rennais, would undoubtedly relish the chance to manage the 2012 Ligue 1 champions.
Forest fans will be hoping that Warburton, with a summer in the transfer market, can turn around the club’s ailing fortunes.
