Sheffield United were previously said to be leading the race for Robinson, who is now a reported target for Nottingham Forest.
Nottingham Forest appear to have replaced Sheffield United in the race to sign the former Queens Park Rangers defender Jack Robinson.
Back in March, the Daily Mirror named Sheffield United as favourites to sign Robinson, who is leaving QPR after snubbing a new deal at Loftus Road.
But after a dearth of follow up reports, it remains to be seen whether or not the Blades plan to pursue a deal for the 24-year-old.
And if they do, they could face strong competition from Nottingham Forest, who the Nottingham Post states are understood to be at the front of the queue.
Forest have been linked with a move for Fabio da Silva, the Middlesbrough left-back, although Robinson’s free agent status, not to mention his ability to play centre-back too, could make the latter player a more favourable Reds target.
Sheffield United, meanwhile, relied heavily on Enda Stevens in Robinson’s natural role last season, despite having Daniel Lafferty as competition, and could be looking to upgrade.
