Newcastle have reportedly made moves for seven new signings.
According to The Guardian, Newcastle United have submitted enquiries to sign seven players – and they need swift results after a slow start to the transfer window.
The Magpies have so far made two additions to their first-team squad ahead of the new Premier League season, with winger Christian Atsu joining permanently from Chelsea before Eibar defender Florian Lejeune signed earlier this week.

Rafael Benitez has been left frustrated with his attempts to bring in new players this summer, and with around a month to go until the start of the new campaign, more players must arrive at St. James’ Park.
The Guardian now report that Newcastle have submitted enquiries to sign seven new players, with most of them possessing Premier League experience.
Goalkeeper Joe Hart is allegedly wanted from Manchester City, whilst Arsenal duo Calum Chambers and Kieran Gibbs are allegedly being eyed to boost Benitez’ defensive options.
Hull City pair Tom Huddlestone and Kamil Grosicki are alleged targets, whilst another striker is also on Benitez’s wish list, with Burnley’s Andre Gray and Villarreal’s Cedric Bakambu both being pursued.

With seven potential deals on the go, Newcastle are putting in plenty of work to improve their squad, but it’s now time for real results in the transfer market as Benitez prepares for the new season.
After a slow start to the window, Newcastle must now bring in real quality, and whilst those seven players would be major additions for the Magpies, they have already missed out on targets, with Benitez relying on his board to bring in up to seven major additions before the campaign begins.
