Newcastle United are looking for a new manager following Rafael Benitez’s departure, and Bournemouth’s Eddie Howe could be an option.

According to BBC Sport, Mike Ashley would love to appoint Eddie Howe as Newcastle United’s next boss.
Howe has done a remarkable job at Bournemouth, and his progress won’t have gone unnoticed at Newcastle.
The Magpies are currently looking for a new manager to take over from Rafael Benitez, whose departure from the club was announced yesterday.
Howe now could be put on Newcastle’s wishlist, but the BBC have questioned whether he would take the job at this current stage.
Howe’s position at Bournemouth is very stable, and he would be walking into Newcastle at a time when there is great uncertainty and frustration around the club.

Howe would be a very exciting addition for Newcastle to make, but he may well be better off sticking where he is for now.
Bournemouth has made vast progress under Howe’s tutelage, and it would not be surprising if they finished higher than Newcastle in next season’s Premier League table.
