Rangers’ boss would allow the winger to leave Ibrox if the fee received was reinvested in the team.
Rangers boss Mark Warburton is open to the sale of winger Barry McKay, should the money raised from his sale go toward recruiting new players for the first-team at Ibrox.
The Daily Record is reporting that the Scotland international is wanted by German side RB Leipzig, who are willing to pay around £6 million to get hold of the player.
The Rangers head coach will not want to lose the player, who is clearly a hot prospect for the future and a current first-team regular.

However, he may have to sell the player at that price – considering the financial situation at Rangers.
The Record report suggests that if Warburton could bring in three players using the money raised from a McKay sale then he would be happy to see his wing wizard head to Germany – where he would join fellow Scottish youngster Oliver Burke.
Rangers have been struggling to afford new players for some time now and have been limited to free transfers and loanees for much of Warburton’s tenure.
This could present him with an opportunity to loosen the purse strings slightly and improve the Rangers squad.
