Jürgen Klopp will be looking to improve his Liverpool squad over the summer.
Piotr Zielinski is part of Poland’s Euro 2016 squad
The Daily Mirror are reporting that Liverpool have offered £9.4 million (€12 million) for Udinese star Piotr Zielinski.
The Mirror are basing their report on a tweet sent out by Sky Sports Italia reporter Guglielmo Cannavale in which he confirmed a bid has been made from the Merseyside outfit:
Zielinski, 22, is an exciting prospect and plays in an attacking midfield role. He has been on loan at Italian side Empoli for the past two seasons, and managed a return of five goals and four assists in 35 Serie A games during this past season.
Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp has an impressive track record of turning players into world stars
Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has a history of buying relatively unknown players and turning them into world stars, including the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Zielinski certainly has massive potential and if a move to Liverpool were to materialise, he could be the next name to add to that list.
Zielinski is currently on duty with the Poland national team as they continue their preparations for the start of their Euro 2016 campaign against Northern Ireland on Sunday. He will be hoping to add to his tally of 13 international caps.
