Liverpool reportedly tried to sign the Lyon ace earlier this summer.

According to French publication L’Equipe, Lyon are still open to the idea of selling Nabil Fekir to Liverpool, but on the one condition that they receive a bid of at least £60 million for his services.

The France international was close to joining Liverpool last month, before his move to Anfield eventually collapsed.

The Reds have since strengthened in the forward department, bringing in Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke City, but there is still room for another talented attack-minded player, and Fekir would be just the ticket.

L’Equipe claim that Lyon would be open to selling the 25-year-old, but only if they receive an offer in excess of £60 million.

Fekir was on fire for Lyon last season, chalking up 23 goals and eight assists in 40 appearances in all competitions.

The Frenchman would be a sensational signing for Liverpool, but it is doubtful that the Merseyside outfit will be able to splash out another £60 million, considering the fact that they have already spent £180 million on four new players this summer.

If Klopp can convince the Reds hierarchy to part with more cash to bring in Fekir this summer, though, they could be quite simply unstoppable this season.
