Leicester City are reportedly close to sealing another big-money signing.
The Telegraph are reporting that the Foxes are close to sealing the £14 million signing of Wilfred Ndidi, with the club in advanced talks with Genk over the finalisation of the move.
The 19-year-old Nigeria international is one of the most highly sought-after youngsters in the game.
Genk midfielder Wilfred Ndidi
He is wonderfully versatile, and is equally as comfortable playing in the centre-back position as he is in the deep-lying midfield role.
The report from the Telegraph claims that Leicester are close to sealing the deal for the Genk youngster for an initial fee of £14 million, that could potentially rise to £16 million, and it will be made official upon the opening of the January transfer window, should negotiations reach an amicable solution.

Claudio Ranieri’s men had failed to reach the heights of last season so far this term, and currently sit in 14th position in the Premier League table, just two points clear of the relegation zone.
Whether the potential addition of Ndidi would make a drastic impact on the Foxes’ current campaign is debatable, but he would represent a good piece of business nevertheless, should a move come to fruition.
