Leeds United are interested in going after a new striker during the January transfer window.
A report in the Yorkshire Post has suggested that Leeds United have included Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa on their list of potential targets for the January transfer window.
The Yorkshire Post reports that Garry Monk hopes to bolster his goalscoring options next month as he looks to strengthen the Whites’ chances of remaining in the play-off mix until the end of the campaign, and has earmarked three potential options.
Leicester City’s Leonardo Ulloa
Along with Ashley Fletcher and David Nugent, Ulloa is one of the names that Monk is currently considering, according to the Yorkshire Post.
The Sun reported last month that the 30-year-old was interested in leaving the Foxes, having struggled for game-time with the current Premier League champions.
However, Leeds perhaps face a difficult task trying to bring him to Elland Road as the same report from The Sun suggested that he may have offers to stay in the top flight with Sunderland keeping tabs on him.

If the Peacocks could land Ulloa, it would undoubtedly provide a major boost to their promotion hopes. The Argentinian was impressive during his time in the Championship with Brighton and has a decent record at the highest level, especially considering that he has spent much of his time at the King Power as a substitute.
And after a somewhat frustrating spell for him personally, he may relish the opportunity to move to Leeds if Monk convinces him that he will receive more chances to play and can play a part in a potential promotion push.
