Juventus are contemplating a sensational player plus cash offer for Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez, that would see Mario Mandzukic move in the opposite direction, according to Italian media outlet CalcioMercatoWeb.
The report claims that the Chilean’s delay in signing a new contract with Arsenal has sparked Juve’s interest, and with Mandzukic deemed surplus to requirements in Turin, the club’s CEO Beppe Marotta is preparing a deal that could tempt the Londoners into selling.

CalcioMercatoWeb go on to report that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger could be tempted into a deal as he is a long-term admirer of the 70-capped Croatian international, and scouted him doing the 2014 World Cup prior to his move to Atletico Madrid.
The 30-year-old former Bayern Munich striker is highly respected within the game and his pedigree is highlighted by his trophy collection which includes two Bundesliga titles, two German Cups, a Serie A title, a Coppa Italia and a Champions League winners medal.

He has scored 75 goals in 168 league appearances for four different clubs since 2010, but has fallen well down the pecking order at Juventus.
The next few months will have a decisive bearing on Sanchez’ future, and if Arsenal allow contract negotiations to rumble on into the new year, he will only have 18 months remaining on his current deal, and The North London outfit could seriously consider selling their star.
