Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in signing Ben Marshall from Blackburn Rovers in the January transfer window.
Blackburn Rovers will not sell Ben Marshall unless they are offered £2 million, according to The Sun.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that Wolverhampton Wanderers have made a bid of £1.3m in order to sign Marshall in the January transfer window.
However, according to The Sun, Blackburn want Championship rivals Wolves to increase their offer if they want to secure the services of the 25-year-old this month.
Marshall, who can operate as a winger or as a right-back, has yet to score in the Championship this season.
The former Leicester City man has created 24 chances in 21 league matches for Rovers so far this campaign.
Blackburn are second from bottom in the Championship table at the moment with just 25 from 27 matches, level on points with 21st-placed Wigan Athletic.
Meanwhile, Wolves currently find themselves 18th in the standings with 32 points from 27 games and are still in danger of getting relegated to League One at the end of the season.
Lambert worked with Marshall when he was in charge of Rovers and knows the the 25-year-old well.
