Nottingham Forest reportedly want to sign Cristhian Stuani from Girona in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Forest have already made enquiries with Girona regarding the availability of the former Middlesbrough striker.

The report has suggested that the La Liga club are willing to sell the Uruguay international striker, but they want a sizeable fee.

Good signing for Nottingham Forest?
Stuani would be a good signing for Forest, as he knows the Championship well and has worked with current Reds manager Aitor Karanka.
The 31-year-old striker, who is playing for Uruguay at the World Cup in Russia at the moment, played under Karanka at Middlesbrough.

Forest need a proven goalscorer in order to finish in the two of the Championship next season, which appears to be their aim.
The Uruguay international striker did relatively well during his time in England, and one suspects that the chance to work with Karanka could be tempting for him.
Stuani scored 21 goals in 32 La Liga starts for Girona in La Liga last season, according to WhoScored.
