Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic signed Odsonne Edouard on a season-long loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017.

Edouard joined Scottish Premiership club Celtic on a season-long loan deal from French giants Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017.
It has been reported that the Hoops have until June 16 to activate an option to make the forward’s deal permanent.
The Daily Mail has also suggested that the initial transfer fee for the former France Under-18 international forward would be around £5 million.

“The Parkhead club remain keen to push through the permanent addition of striker Odsonne Edouard,” states the report in The Daily Mail.
“Celtic have until June 16 to activate an option following the 20-year-old Frenchman’s loan spell from Paris Saint-Germain and could strike a deal worth around £5million plus add-ons.”
Less than originally thought
A report in The Scottish Sun last week claimed that Celtic had until May 31 to strike a deal with PSG over the permanent signing of Edouard.
The report also stated that it would cost the Glasgow giants a club-record fee of £10 million to sign the 20-year-old.

Promising talent
Edouard did not always start for Celtic this past season, but the Frenchman’s overall performances were very encouraging.
The rising star scored 10 goals in 29 appearances in all competitions for Celtic this past season, according to the Scottish club’s official website.
