Scottish giants Celtic and Rangers are the latest clubs to show interest in free agent and former Premier League star Nigel Reo-Coker, joining a plethora of Championship clubs in the race to sign the 32-year-old, according to the People and reported via the Daily Star.
The former West Ham United and Aston Villa midfielder has been without a club since January after his contract at Montreal Impact was terminated by mutual consent.
Reo-Coker has been absent from the British game since January 2013 when he left Ipswich Town for the MLS.
Could Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers bring Reo-Coker to Celtic Park?
Reports now suggest his former Club Aston Villa, Leeds United, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Sheffield Wednesday and Bristol City, along with the two Glasgow giants, are interested in bringing him back to British shores, according to the People, and reported via the Daily Star.
He began his career at Wimbledon in 2002 before moving to West Ham two years later, and was made club captain before going on to make 120 league appearances for the Hammers.

He then made the move to the Midlands, joining Aston Villa for £7.5 million, and went on to make 102 Premier League appearances for the Villans.
His career in the English game began a downward spiral after his exit from Villa Park, as he spent less influential spells at Bolton Wanderers and Ipswich Town before leaving for America.
Reo-Coker is obviously a highly experienced midfielder, who would bring a lot of passion and tenacity to all of the side’s reportedly interested in him, and with the transfer window still open to sign free agents, a move to any of the club’s mentioned could materialise in the coming weeks.
