The Slovenian international played 21 times for the club on loan last term.
Reports in Spain are suggesting that a former Nottingham Forest loanee is set to be released by his club in the New Year.
It is reported by Castellon Informacion that Spanish side Villarreal are all set to release Slovenian defender Bojan Jokic from his contract in January so he can find himself a new team.

If he is indeed given the chop, should Forest consider making a move to bring him back to the City Ground?
Forest are not exactly strong at left-back. In recent weeks Eric Lichaj has been playing in the position with Armand Traore, Danny Fox and Dani Pinillos all struggling with injury problems.
Jokic has just returned from a foot injury and in October was part of the Slovenia defence that held England to a 0-0 draw in World Cup qualifying. He has 82 caps for his country and is still a regular.

He played 21 times for Forest during his loan spell and impressed at left-back and there is little doubt that Philippe Montanier’s men need strengthening at the back considering the amount of goals they’ve conceded so far this season.
If Jokic is available for nothing in January, then Forest should certainly consider bringing him back.
